1. Know your area of focus

This means knowing/having a list of topics and keywords ready that you will be focusing on as a blogger.
For instance, for me my main categories are:
- selfcare and selflove
- entrepreneurship
- glow up / leveling up
- self development
- relationships
- and many more.
For keywords, my list is endless:
- authenticity
- boundaries
- healing
- mindset
- emotional intelligence
- depression/anxiety,
- and many more.
When you have a clear vision for your area of focus, it makes it easier to brainstorm new ideas and related topics.
2. Brainstorm new ideas for articles

I do this daily, weekly, whenever I can, whenever inspiration hits. The point is to always keep adding titles to your “new articles to write” queue and not wait until you run out of completed articles to rush coming up with a new one. That’s never good for business.
3. Organizing

Once I have these new ideas, I assign titles, categories, keywords, and whether they’re monetizable or not (in case you use affiliate links, sponsorships, etc this is important). If you plan on using blogging as a legitimate source of income, be it a side-hustle or main one, keeping track of monetizable articles is essential so you can keep track of your monthly status and possible income.
4. Planning

Create a schedule for articles using an Excel table or similar app. You want to have an overview of your content like a pro, using the following questions as guidelines:
- mark which article is completed or not;
- how frequently do I want to post this month? how frequently CAN I post this month, realistically?
- am I following a particular theme this month/week – if so, coordinate the articles accordingly.
- is there a logical, smooth flow to the collection of articles for this month? – reorder article dates accordingly.
- how many monetizable articles do i have? – spread them out evenly across the month, so it flows more naturally and doesn’t come across as spammy or overpowering to your audience. Unless your blog is specifically targeting product-based reviews or articles, make sure there is a good balance. You want to offer value as well as connection to your readers. If you limit your content to only product-related articles, you may miss out on a huge marketing strategy – creating a connection with your readers through more personal posts will make a great difference. Let them know who you are. Open up about your experiences or thoughts, whatever topics apply for your blog.
5. Writing the articles

When you have time, or when inspiration hits, tackle one article or another. Figure out a routine that works for you. Personally, I like to do a writing marathon where I finish a collection of articles in advance, then schedule them weeks ahead – that way I have all that time freed up to focus on writing more articles.
Furthermore, my style at the moment is sporadic, since I have multiple engagements and projects going on, what works best for me at the moment is to write when I’m inspired/motivated/driven, that way I’m on a roll and get it done best. If you prefer to set a strict schedule of writing on a given day(s) in the week, at a given hour, then go for it. The takeaway here is: find your routine, so it works for you, instead of the other way around.
6. WordPress scheduling

After each article is finished, schedule it in WordPress, making sure all details are filled in and polished (categories, keywords, images with ALT, Title, Description attributes), SEO optimization, and anything else. Make sure it’s ready to go, and requires no additional input from you, and you can focus on other tasks. Click schedule, and you’re done with one more article!
Until next time, my darling entrepreneurs…
