New Moon in Scorpio
Much like the moon, I have seasons of coming and going, waxing and waning. Of being bright and radiant, and then going completely and utterly dark. Sometimes it’s necessary — this surrendering into your own

I hope my story inspires you to not give up on yourself. Wherever you may be in life, whatever phase or age, it’s always worth it to start loving yourself, to start believing in yourself. I’m not saying it’s easy or fast. After all, it took me 10 years to get here. But you can make this shift in mindset, energy and confidence in 1 year if you really want, and you’re brave enough to choose yourself and decide that you deserve better. You can learn from my mistakes and make the change now, instead of later.
I thought I’d share my latest habits so that it may hopefully inspire others as well. Starting with the Scorpio Full Moon from 15/05/2022, I decided to challenge myself every day with new habits and routines that propell me in the direction of my goals, but also improve my wellbeing and mental health (we’re all about the holistic glow up here, ladies).
Nowadays, I find myself glued to my devices, because the magical world of my books is just one click away. In the morning when I sip on my tea, in the afternoon after I’m done with work, at night before sleep, I keep adding ideas, whirling up new scenes to add to my story, adding a few more lines to the latest chapter . . . In other words, I’m finally writing with the efficiency I’ve always wanted, instead of getting stuck on writer’s block for weeks or months on end.
I never thought I’d say this, but it’s now a challenge to not binge-write every day — whereas previously I didn’t know how to push myself to write more often. I went from 20% productivity to, dare I say, 100%.
You’re stronger than you can ever realise. You have a 100% survival rate. You’re a survivor, and you should be proud of that fact, instead of letting yourself be guilt-tripped by toxic people who were never in love with you, never in love with who you are, only the idea of you. Of course they were more loyal to their idea(l) of you than the actual you. See the truth of the situation as it was: they were not real friends.
When I write, everything goes quiet. There is only being and the joy of writing. When I write, it no longer feels like writing – the words fade – there’s only the world in my head, the boundless magical dimension I’ve created. The glowing crystal city of the Lunar Queendom in its eternal twilight, the windswept crumbles of a kingdom destroyed by a cybernetic corporation. There is only the luscious rainforest of Xandrias, an ever welcoming home with open arms, with its utopian values and academy housing the most diverse people. Slipping into the hearts of the characters feels like reuniting with old friends. A place where you will always belong.
Writers are a fickle folk. We know that, the Sun knows that, everyone knows that. Writers like to have a very specific system for their routine, a polished structure to things, and just as much, they like to have the control of completely overthrowing that very system when the equally fickle Muse comes knocking for trouble. If you’re a writer looking for tips and tricks, or if you’re simply curious about how the magic happens in a writer’s head, here’s how.
“A world born out of Kaodhan’s dream. Xandrias. The name has echoed across Orbisalia, evoking reactions as diverse as those that desperately seek its secret location: the cybernetic organization MERCURY, threatened by this subversive institute that undermines their network of power. And the broken youth of the otherworld, dreaming that Xandrias is more than a handful of lies and crushed hopes…
I’ve always had a passion for the ancient Celts. I can’t really say when it all began, but as I mentioned at some point on World Of Celts (my platform/blog for everything Celtic), there was something about the mystery that surrounded them, how they are such an enigma even to this day for historians and archeologists alike. How their wilful – and puzzling – choice to leave no written records ultimately sealed their memory across the sands of time. Some people find this the most difficult or frustrating aspect about studying them, but for me it’s the opposite.
Everybody’s journey of self-love is different, but the first step is to begin. And as someone who’s been there, struggling by anxiety and lacking security in my identity, I can safely say it gets better. Self love changes everything. Everything, in the best ways. It changes how you view yourself and by extension it changes how you view life and the act of living. And when you know you deserve the world you will stop tolerating those who believe you deserve anything less.
